Rarely-heard chamber music by Czech and Moravian composers illuminates a little-known history in this program that explores the unique sound of Bohemian music for oboe, violin, viola, and cello. Fun and fascinating works by Krommer, Druschetzky, and Milicinsky are heard alongside traditional folk tunes arranged for the ensemble plus Mozart’s sublime oboe quartet, KV370.
