NEW VIRTUAL RELEASE! Join Les Délices in a realm of musical riddles, where J.S. Bach’s intricate counterpoint and clever canons come to life through a rich palette of instrumental colors. This imaginative program beautifully balances excerpts from Papa Bach’s ingenious Musical Offering with his son C.P.E. Bach’s expressive, melodic music.
VIRTUAL RELEASE! The Highland Lassie celebrates the permeable borders between folk song and art song, between country dance and cotillion. Truly, the tunes crossed social boundaries - being sung and played by folks from every walk of life from the fields to the tavern to the well-heeled salon.
VIRTUAL RELEASE! In Kiss and Tell, star countertenor Reginald Mobley joins Les Délices to explore the coded language of love and desire in bucolic poetry from the late 17th & 18th centuries. The program’s centerpiece is Kiss and Tell, a new myth-inspired cantata by composer Damien Geter with a libretto by Tsitsi Jaji.
During the month of May 2027, Les Délices fans can stream the 2025 filmed version of The Mermaid on-demand exclusively on our VHX platform.
