06 Nov Sea Songs & Shanty Sings featuring Seán Dagher

Ahoy there, mateys! Get ready to set sail with the toe-tapping tunes of Canadian music powerhouse Séan Dagher.

Dagher has a free Shanty Sing at Cleveland’s The Brownhoist,  a “Pirate Night” themed evening in collaboration with friends from Yorecraeft Productions at Market Garden Brewery in Cleveland, plus a library performance in Rocky River.

Dagher isn’t just taking the stage with members of Les Délices, he’s also sharing his love of shanties with folks all around NEOhio, including Akron’s Firestone Community Learning Center choirs. Over three in-school workshops, Dagher will teach the choir the call and response style, the art of harmonizing, and even help them write their own shanty verses. Their hard work will culminate in a special performance and community singalong at House 330’s historic Cabaret in Akron.

Get ready to raise a glass, tap your feet, and belt out some shanties. Dust off your eye patch and prepare to sing your heart out!
