15th Anniversary campaign
This multi-year, comprehensive campaign with a total goal of $200,000 will support Les Délices’ long-term sustainability and enhance the scope and impact of our programs. Campaign contributions will support special expenses for recording projects, commissions and collaborations, as well as increasing our cash reserves and investment in human capital with an improved staff structure and artist compensation model.

CAMPAIGN GOALS
Organizational Capacity ($100,000)
ESSENTIAL STAFFING
Recruitment and retention of highly qualified, motivated staff is essential to Les Délices’ continuing success in fundraising, operations, and artistic production. These funds will:
- Augment staff capacity with the addition of a Production Assistant
- Provide competitive salaries for full-time staff
INCREASED ARTIST FEES
Supporting Les Délices’ position as a desirable and equitable place for musicians, these funds will enable us to make incremental increases to our artist fee structure over three years.
- Fees will increase overall by 25 to 30 percent, with the average weekly artist fee beginning at $1,500
INCREASED CASH RESERVE
- Les Délices' budget has grown 75 percent since FY20, while our cash reserves have remained roughly level.
- Best practices dictate a cash reserve that can cover at least three months of operating expenses.
- Adding $30,000 to our cash reserves will critically impact organizational sustainability
INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING ($100,000)
COMMISSIONING
The Mythology Project will offer listeners the opportunity to think broadly about myth and its impact on our lives.
- LD will commission three new cantatas for voice with an ensemble of period instruments
- Working with composers from historically underrepresented groups serves to expand and diversify the early music repertoire
ARTS EDUCATION
Campaign funds will allow us to hire an Artist-Educator who can leverage our strategic partnerships with school and community programs serving diverse student populations in order to:
- Create cross-curricular connections based on musical, cultural, social, and historical context
- Empower student musicians by introducing them to ideas and tools in performance practice
MEDIA & DIGITAL CONTENT DISTRIBUTION
Campaign funds will enable us to prioritize:
- High-quality video recording of two programs per year to enhance LD's national reputation and heighten our marketing and social media presence
- Recording and release of four commercial CDs/streaming audio projects over 3 years
