J.S. Bach’s Musical Offering is a tour de force collection in which a single melody is continuously transformed in ways that challenge both the imagination and the intellect. Les Délices offers a guided tour of this incredible, rarely-performed work, elucidating Bach’s rich counterpoint through instrumental colors including violins, viola, flute, oboe da caccia, bassoon, cello, and harpsichord.
Featuring: Emi Ferguson (flute), Debra Nagy (oboes), Shelby Yamin (violin), Allison Monroe (violin & viola), Rebecca Landell (cello), Mark Edwards (harpsichord)

Originally recorded in 2021, The Highland Lassie celebrates the permeable borders between folk song and art song, between country dance and cotillion. Truly, the tunes crossed social boundaries – being sung and played by folks from every walk of life from the fields to the tavern to the well-heeled salon. With their haunting melodies, budding romanticism, and nostalgic sentimentality, these traditional Scots songs speak powerfully to us today.
Featuring: Elena Mullins Bailey (soprano), Debra Nagy (baroque oboe & recorders), Julie Andrijeski & Allison Monroe (violins), Rebecca Landell (cello), Daniel Swenberg (English guittar, baroque guitar, and archlute), Mark Edwards (harpsichord)

In Kiss and Tell, star countertenor Reginald Mobley joins Les Délices to explore the coded language of love and desire in bucolic poetry from the late 17th & 18th centuries. The program’s centerpiece is Kiss and Tell, a new myth-inspired cantata by composer Damien Geter with a libretto by Tsitsi Jaji that draws from Classical Greek (Apollo), Norse (Loki), West African (Anansi), and Japanese traditions to celebrate love and belonging across time and space.
Featuring: Reginald Mobley (countertenor), Debra Nagy & Kathryn Montoya (oboe & recorders), Shelby Yamin & Maria Romero (violin), Rebecca Landell (cello), Mark Edwards (harpsichord)

Les Délices revives its popular program featuring special guest Seán Dagher. The Mermaid lures listeners on a fantastic journey filled with tales of pirates, fearsome storms, raucous drinking songs, toe-tapping fiddle tunes, rousing sea shanties, and more.
Featuring: Seán Dagher (vocals & Irish bouzouki), Elena Mullins Bailey (soprano), Debra Nagy (oboe and recorders), Allison Monroe (violin), Rebecca Landell (cello), Anthony Taddeo (percussion)
