A Moment’s Oblivion

VIRTUAL CONCERT

Available on Vimeo Mar. 28-Apr. 13, 2025

Acclaimed tenor Nicholas Phan joins Les Délices for A Moment’s Oblivion, pairing Baroque cantatas and instrumental works that take listeners on a journey seeking truth or resolution with a new commission from Vietnamese-American composer Viet Cuong. Based on a Confucian myth, Cuong’s A Moment’s Oblivion explores the effects of a mysterious illness, experimental treatments, and miraculous recovery on a patient and their community. This performance features projected supertitles.

This virtual release follows live performances of the same program in Cleveland Heights and Rocky River in February, 2025.
