Bach’s ultimate pursuit of possibility
Join Les Délices in a realm of musical riddles, where J.S. Bach’s intricate counterpoint and clever canons come to life through a rich palette of instrumental colors. This imaginative program beautifully balances excerpts from Papa Bach’s ingenious Musical Offering with his son C.P.E. Bach’s expressive, melodic music. Pre-concert remarks by harpsichordist Mark Edwards will begin 30 minutes before each concert begins.
