Machaut’s Lai of the Fountain
VIRTUAL CONCERT
Available on Vimeo January 3-19, 2025
The subtle beauty of the Medieval garden is brought to life through music by Machaut, Ciconia and others with video art design by Camilla Tassi. Enjoy this exclusive re-release from the Les Délices archive: Guillaume de Machaut’s flowing melodies become brilliant rainbows when refracted into three-voice canons in his Lai of the Fountain. Works by Johannes Ciconia and others aid our exploration of the Medieval garden’s subtle beauty in this collaboration with Blue Heron.
