Join us for two FREE July 2019 events

Are you looking for something to do this July to get out of the heat and into some music? You’ll have two chances to find us in Northeast Ohio. We hope to see you at one of both of these!

From the Ground Up!

Our last Akron Children’s Museum concert was in chilly January 2019

Bring your kids and join us for From the Ground Up! at the Akron Children’s Museum on Sunday, July 21. This installment of our popular LD@Play family concert series will introduce you to the idea of a ground bass, a bass line that repeats over and over that you can play all kinds of variations on top of. For all our family programs, you can come a little early to do some coloring. Best of all, the program is free with the very reasonably $5 admission to the museum! So make a day of it and come have a musical adventure before exploring the museum.

Characters of the Dance

Two baroque dance movements from April’s concert, The Elements

Your second opportunity to see us this month is in Mentor at the lovely Wildwood Cultural Center. Dancing is the foundation of so much baroque music, and our program, Characters of the Dance, puts that front and center. Join us for this al fresco evening of music (and don’t worry, we have a rain plan just in case!)
